Obtain Consent Before Using the App with Individual Information
If you are an educational institution, healthcare provider (including hospitals, medical, mental health, behaviour support or allied health clinics), disability service provider, aged care facility, corrective services provider, or any other organisation or professional using the Behaviour Help App, you must:
- Obtain consent from the Supported Individual, their parent, or guardian before uploading any personal information.
- Where the Supported Individual is under 18 or unable to provide consent due to disability, obtain consent from a parent or guardian.
- Store signed copies securely in your organisation’s records.
